Lots More
Hello all,
In some form of chronology here is what we've been whittling the hours doing. Sunday was the greatest of American holidays, the SUPER BOWL. This is of course a great excuse to make delicious snacks and eat them. I made my famous guacamole and the children enjoyed it.
The game was good. The ladies were sad that the unfathomably debonair QB lost.
(only Kidding)
The next day A refused to sleep in the morning so we headed out to the park early. It was colder than normal and there was no one there so I took the opportunity to ignore my children and photograph.
Those tiny specs in the distance are Z.
I didn't completely ignore them.
I really like this one.
Since "A" didn't sleep that morning he didn't last long on the ride home. I shot these while driving 60 MPH so excuse their awfulness.
He's gonna love me for those when he grows up.
Z wanted in on the photoshoot.
I was only kidding about the 60+MPH part.
Today this is happening.
As you can see, A is Sick. Z says it wasn't her.
or maybe it was.
That is all.
Till Next Time

Park it Mister!
So we go to the park.
Sometimes we go to parks with other people and other children so I can be annoyed and generally act anti social while my children meet and greet everyone with a smile. They love seeing the kids and playing with them/ stealing the toys/ bossing them around.
On the other hand I love peace and quiet and not people so sometimes we go places where I know there won't be any one. This makes for better picture taking and a generally more relax parenting experience. These pictures are from one of those trips.
"A" has his land legs under him pretty substantially so he climbs and grips and slides like a semi pro. He gets up, I make sure he doesn't fall/ gets down.
I was making pictures with shadows.
Z is a social butterfly/ dominator and is kind of too fast to get a decent picture of in action. That being the case here she is strapped down.
We are good. I am teaching again, T is still fighting the good fight.
Till next time-

Laying Low
Yep. So,
We've been taking it easy the last couple of weeks. The beard went back to work. The sweet smelling lady continued her fight to right all the wrongs cause by parents of 5th graders. A and Z manage to keep each other entertained. We go to the park a lot but I don't take pictures b/c the creepy bearded guy taking pictures of little girls at the park doesn't go over to well. So I've been taking pictures at home. Here A and Z play a little peek-a-boo with the camera.
Then A gets antsy.
Then he can't stand it any more!
Z and A like to spend time coloring/ drafting the architectural marvels of tomorrow at their individual working stations. After they design one structure I make them write lines.
I will not spank others.
I will not defame New Orleans.
I will not bring sheep to class.
I will not play pranks on Principal Skinner.
Then Z and Sam play that game where one looks at the other and then looks away.
Sam thinks that game is stupid.
That is all.
Till next time-
Relax don't do it
When you want to to go to it
Relax don't do it

DANCE PARTY!
So,
We're fine, thanks for asking. "A" is talking a bit more, he says things like "dog" and "I got it" in speak only parents can understand but that is a step up from a few weeks ago. He's happy. He loves to dance to the Fresh Beat Band!
The rest of us are fine.
