The Sierra's and Z

Hey all,
Last week the beard went camping with his father in law and the girls had a weekend in beautiful Lancaster. The beard stole the camera so there are no Z with grandma pictures but we've got a couple worth showing off. Here's where the beard went fishing.


Here's Z's grandpa trying to show the beard how to fish. This was his first non sit on a boat drop a line w/ neon colored goop on it and end up catching a tire and breaking the line kind of fishing trip.


The beard started out super slow (lost 2 lures and broke a line). Here's Z's gramps fixing the beards mess.

We caught a combined big pack o' nada. It was still a great time and worth the trip. here's a couple more pictures.

The ups and downs.

Hello all,
Busy week for everyone here at the Homestead, or at least busy last few days. On Tuesday she started her immunizations she screamed her brains out. All of the ladies in the office felt terrible for her. the good news is that she's growing well and is back up to a normal weight, 10lbs 11oz and 22 1/2 inches tall.
On Thursday Kirk and Gretchen stopped by. Despite the beards best intentions no pictures were taken. If he had been smart enough to take pictures you would be looking at Carter either running from or throwing a ball for Sam and Porter. You would also see Gretchen kindly holding Zoey for a while and Zoey being quite happy about it.
We then invited ourselves over to Brian and Lisas house for tri tip dinner. It turns out Zoey REALLY REALLY hates the car until we get on the freeway. Dinner was great and it was nice to see everyone. Zoey got tired and did a lot of this...
On Friday the sweet smelling lady decided to host a little photo shoot.

Then on Saturday we decided to have a lazy day. Zoey is Trying to learn cooking from Jaque Pepin.

Today we are going to get camping supplies for the beards big fishing trip and go purchase diapers at Costco, woo....hooo....

Week 678. Yes I am getting Lazy...

Hello all,
We are doing pretty well. Its been a fairly standard couple weeks with a few exceptions. One b-trouble, h-bomb and the big Shugga (Esther) all left for Ohio. We're really going to miss them. We got a good shot of them with S and P before they left.



On the Z front, she is getting more alert, cute, and chunky. She's up to 24 inches by our count. We've got some shots to illustrate.




She is starting to smile and laugh at us when we act silly so we thought we'd include this here Video. (She's not doing it on command yet and I didn't want to spend the time editing the video so it's a little long.)
