The Giving of Thanks 2015

So,
The Grovers came up for thanksgiving. We decided to cook and host this year which was a bit nerve racking but Teresa really pulled out all the stops and the dinner was fantastic. All day long the kids played with Cori, Grandma and Grandpa on the trampoline and in the house while T and I cooked. The kids had an absolute blast. The Grovers were pretty worn out I think... Eventually we ate and it was delicious.

Yesterday we woke up made some breakfast and the Grandparents split town so they could go home and relax. We proceeded to sit around and loaf.

Today we went to the Discovery Cube LA which is a childrens museum. The kids loved it. T and I finally purchased new phones so these are shot on those.

Aidens favorite thing was the garbage sorting...

Zoey is pretty good at climbing.
Next week we all return to working/ schooling. We'll see how it shakes out.

Last Few Weeks

So,
Last week we took the family up to Mt Pinos. It's the tallest peak in Ventura county (8.1k-ish Ft). We did some geocaching to keep the kids interested and played in the snow. It was a lovely fall day well spent outside.

Kids finding the cache.

Playing in the snow.

Eating snacks while walking. One way to keep em moving.

After that we ate delicious burgers at some local place. Then the week happened. Weeks are mostly similar. Then on Sunday it was Teresas birthday. We ate chocolate cream pie after much trampolining, going to the park, foods and gifts, and shoe shopping.

Stylin.

This week I work Monday night, the rest of the family has the whole week off and we are hosting Thanksgiving dinner for the Grovers. Should be fun.

Halloween 2015

So,
The weeks recently have been mostly uneventful. On Saturday the Grovers Came up to celebrate Halloween with us. It was fun to have them up. The kids trick or treated our pathetic neighborhood and came back slightly disappointed so Teresa and I took them to a further away neighborhood where they made out a little bit better. We live in suburban neighborhood and we only got 4 groups of trick or treaters all night. Our block only had 2 houses giving out candy. People are lame.

The kids dressed up as Power Rangers. On Friday they were able to wear their costumes to school.

Zoeys class did not participate in a Halloween Parade.

That is all.
