Easter!

So,
As previously mentioned by the beard we went to the spoil me Rottens in OC for Easter. Z tried to do the Easter egg hunt thing but she's a it young to really get it so she mostly liked the big yellow duck and the bubbles. Also it was a bit chilly out so we didn't get any great shots of her in her Easter dress. Warning the rest of this is really pic heavy.






It was soon discovered that both Z and I greatly enjoyed bubble blowing and popping.

Spring Break!!! (wah wah)

So,
I'm on spring break this week.
Sam is sick, I'll spare the details b/c dog sick is highly unpleasant.
Z is 10 months old.
My spring break is 60 papers to grade... so far not good. It's amazing that these kids even make it to University level. Por Ejemplo, if an assignment were to say 2-3 pages would you then write a paper that is 1 1/2 pages long? If I asked for a color photo at the end of the paper would you include it? If I asked you to hand in a paper would you STAPLE it? Seriously! who turns in a paper without a staple?
Anywho.
Then I have 60 assignments of 4 shots each all that need to be graded.
All of this makes for a spring break that has thus far been less than stellar. The good news is that in less than a month I'll be soaking up the glow of my super duper family in Florida, Z will get to meet her Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
I have Easter photos that I will upload eventually. We went down to OC and had a heck of a time.

8 Months and on the go.

Howdy all,
Sam here. Z has become super mobile and is a whole new bundle of challenge now. She is constantly trying to come and see Popo and I and steal our toys. We're handling it really well because the mountain man doesn't really give us a choice. Oh, and because we like Z as evidenced by the following pictures.



It's really not as bad as that makes it look. I just have to keep finding ways to include Porter pictures and he always looks scared in his pictures.
Z is on the go and pulling herself up everywhere. The sweet smelling lady and the beard have to chase her all over the house now. Sometimes it seems like there are 3 people and 2 dogs all crawling around the house, like nobody ever gets to stand up.
The good news is that now that Z is mobile she is much better at entertaining herself. Here she is looking prim and proper.
