As readers of this oft dormant blog will no doubt be aware we went to North Carolina for the Cheney Family reunion. The family was great, the house was amazing and the town of Duck was really nice. We went to the beach a lot. It was free. We also went to the Wright Brothers National Monument.

Pinatas were beaten.
Talents were performed.
TONS of food was eaten.
Pies were placed in faces.
MORE FOOD WAS EATEN.
We went to a sand dune.
MORE FOOD WAS CONSUMED!
Pirates ran rowdy.
It was a great reunion. We drove back to VA to stay in Charlottesville for a few extra days. One day we made a trip to DC. We saw the Museum of Natural History, the White House, and a bit of the American History Museum. It was sorta hot and humid but good to get the kids out there and show them some of that american stuff.

Then we flew home.
I'm sure I didn't remember everything.

Fabulous. I especially liked your sand dune pictures. It was so fun to spend time with you guys! But I don't think you mentioned any of the delicious food we consumed. Maybe in your next post?
