Hello all,
Busy week for everyone here at the Homestead, or at least busy last few days. On Tuesday she started her immunizations she screamed her brains out. All of the ladies in the office felt terrible for her. the good news is that she's growing well and is back up to a normal weight, 10lbs 11oz and 22 1/2 inches tall.
On Thursday Kirk and Gretchen stopped by. Despite the beards best intentions no pictures were taken. If he had been smart enough to take pictures you would be looking at Carter either running from or throwing a ball for Sam and Porter. You would also see Gretchen kindly holding Zoey for a while and Zoey being quite happy about it.
We then invited ourselves over to Brian and Lisas house for tri tip dinner. It turns out Zoey REALLY REALLY hates the car until we get on the freeway. Dinner was great and it was nice to see everyone. Zoey got tired and did a lot of this...
On Friday the sweet smelling lady decided to host a little photo shoot.
Then on Saturday we decided to have a lazy day. Zoey is Trying to learn cooking from Jaque Pepin.
Today we are going to get camping supplies for the beards big fishing trip and go purchase diapers at Costco, woo....hooo....

It's always great to get together with family and eat tri-tip. I'm jealous!
I didn't know you were going to get together with Kirk. Fun! And since I didn't have internet, I didn't get to see those other pics of Z until just a few days ago. She is such a pretty baby. Who are you going camping with?
She is a cutie that is for sure!
