A Walk In the Desert.
I've been taking the kids out of the house most mornings. It's more fun for me if we can go somewhere interesting. I've been wanting to check this place out in the daylight to make sure there isn't anything crazy going on so I can come back for a night shoot. We didn't get too close to the abandoned houses b/c the ground is covered in broken glass and trash and barbed wire but we took a nice long walk on the road.

Nice photos, Ryan. I just love Aiden's smile. Zoey is so pretty. Even Sam got to come!
There are lots of abandoned things to see in the desert. Makes you wonder what the original developers were thinking.
Some of them were old housing communities for employees like miners, or farm laborer's built by the employers since the areas used to be more remote. A lot of them are just old homesteads that people have abandoned. Makes for lots to explore.
